Rod & Piston seals are equal lip-seal which can be used for both piston seal and rod seal.They're also the most critical seals on any type of fluid power equipment preventing leakage of fluid from within the cylinder tothe outside. Leakage through the rod or piston seal can reduce equipment performance, and also in extreme cases can cause environmental issues.
Hydraulic PU seals- Piston seal
Piston Seals or Piston Rings are using in hydraulic cylinders for fluid sealing. They are internal to the cylinder head and seal against the cylinder bore, preventing fluid from flowing across the cylinder head. This allows pressure build up on one side of the piston, making the cylinder extend or retract.
Hydraulic PU seals- Wiper/Dust seal
Wipers are installed in the sealing configurations of hydraulic cylinders to prevent contaminants such as dirt, dust, and moisture from entering the cylinder as they retract back into the system.
